Passcuran Kunjirama is the Founder and Group Managing Director of Terotechnology Group of companies. He leads the execution of the Group’s strategy in the market and is responsible for the global business performance. He has overall leadership across the geographies and service verticals.

An entrepreneur by nature, in 1997, Passcuran founded Terotechnology, from the ground up. Under his leadership, the company has developed a solid track record in the Facility Management sector and made its mark with large corporations like Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), KLCC Twin Towers and Intel amongst others.

Passcuran has been instrumental in shaping Terotechnology’s business strategy and building a unique partnership model based on the principles of innovation and sustainability development. He is passionate about green technology and its benefits to the environment and society at large. He is a strong advocate of the importance of human capital in the corporate sector, always engaging in the training and development of human potential.

An engineer by profession, Passcuran is equipped with more than 25 years of industry experience. He ventured into the international business community by working in many of the world’s top companies like SerVend International, Wormald Australia, Tarmac UK, and Jones La Salle UK and has held numerous leadership positions. Over the years, his expertise in engineering and utilities management, integrated facility and asset management, and project management have become priceless. His knowledge and skills span across oil and gas, building services, IT and technology parks, power generation and distribution, and manufacturing fields.

His eye for international business has allowed him to secure global partnerships with leading multinational companies worldwide such as Dow Chemicals (Optimal), Intel, Petronas, HCL Technologies India and MEMC USA.

Abi Sofian is the Chief Executive Officer and leads a team of 250 to deliver safe, reliable and cost efficient operations across the geographies. He is responsible for executing the business strategy and directing the overall performance and growth of the organisation.

Abi Sofian has been with Terotechnology since September 2017. He brings with him considerable experience in the field of facility management. His initiation in this field commenced with Northport Malaysia Berhad (NMB), formerly known as Kelang Container Terminal Berhad. An engineer by profession, Abi Sofian was entrusted to manage all facilities related infrastructure and services at the time of the industry’s infancy in Malaysia. He has held various leadership positions at NMB. Some of his professional peak points include formulation of the Northport Infrastructure Masterplan for a sustainable business model; Green Technology initiatives for the container handling equipment as part of the Masterplan, and the proposal of the Carey Island Development plan for an Integrated Port City that would cater for the Port Klang capacity building. In 2014, Abi Sofian was promoted to Group Managing Director. After 23 years with the NCB Group, Abi Sofian left to pursue other opportunities in the private sector prior to joining Terotechnology.

He is a member of Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia. In addition, Abi Sofian held the post of editor for JURUTERA, the monthly bulletin of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia from 2009–2011. He was appointed to the Technical Advisory Panel of Workers Institute of Technology (WIT) for the period 2010–2012. He was a council member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Malaysia (CILTM) for the period 2015–2016. He was elected Secretary General of the Institute for the term 2017–2019. He is also a member of the Management Board of Balai Ikhtisas Malaysia (BIM).

 

With respect to education, Abi Sofian holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of New South Wales, Australia and a Bachelor of Jurisprudence (External) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has also attended various courses and management programmes in the areas of port management and operations including The Port Management Seminar in Delft under The Netherlands Government Fellowship Programme, New Development in Port Engineering by APEC-Antwerp, as well as the Senior Management Development Programme by the Harvard Business Club, Malaysia.

 

Currently, he is a member of the Industrial Advisory Panel for the Bachelor of Industrial Logistics (Hons.) programme at UniKL MITEC.

Hartanah Tero is technically supported by Terotechnology Global Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian based company that specializes in providing Total Facility Management (TFM), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Engineering services.

We practice a flexible, innovative approach tailored to meet our client requirements in the provision of TFM services and relieve our clients of the distracting chores of servicing, maintenance or managing building, facilities or assets. Thereby, permitting them to fully concentrate on their primary business activities. Our O&M services are designed to optimize plant operational efficiency and maximize client’s return on assets while our engineering services focus on plant expansions, improvements and audits.

Terotechnology Singapore provides facilities management solutions to various industries such as healthcare, financial, telecommunication, manufacturing, education, commercial real estate and utility sectors, Terotechnology Singapore also provides the solution for our client sustainability goals and circular economy.

AquaGreen is an engineering company within the Cleantech industry with a strong R&D background.

AquaGreen’s new groundbreaking technology can dry sewage sludge and wet biomass using the calorific value in the biomass. This is done by their patent pending integrated steam drying and pyrolysis solution.

The pyrolysis process eliminates all microplastic, medicine residues and other harmful organic compounds turning the dried sludge into a hygienized, odor free, storage stable biochar and thermal energy.

Shizen Energy provides a one-stop service from site development to construction, post-completion O&M and asset management. They work consistently to maximize solar power generation by understanding all the characteristics of the land and the construction process and seamlessly passing it on to the 20-year O&M team. With the experience and expertise, they are also able to offer services for financing the construction of new solar plant (rooftop & farmland) and commercializing projects that may have been suspended.
